There’s just so many games coming to the eShop that I can’t keep up. Take Devil Engine, for example. Released late last week, the game serves as a sendup to side scrolling shoot ‘em ups (particularly Thunder Force) of the past with its own ideas and newer features. See for yourself:
The sprites and music are definitely attention-grabbing, but it’s the sight of those boss fights that’s got me curious. Devil Engine is available on Nintendo Switch now for $19.99.
