One of my favorite little pleasures with new physical releases is seeing what the good folks publishing the game have put as alternate art on the inside cover. And now it’s Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu & Eevee!’s turn, as the inside of the game’s cover boasts an impressive and immense map of the Kanto region.
The map is painted in lush strokes and detailed not just with the region’s topography, but many of the various Pokémon you’ll find situated throughout. It has all the classic locations on display, from Pallet Town to Mt. Moon to the Indigo Plateau and beyond, and looks to be a nice little bonus to any purchasing the game digitally.
