Some Alolan forms rose above the rest to supplant the original, Kanto versions of their Pokémon. For Exeggutor, that’s both figurative and literal as the sky high Grass/Dragon has grown into an iconic part of the seventh generation of games and is making its way to Smash via Poké Ball.
It doesn’t look like Alolan Exeggutor will even attack. Rather, just by being on the stage it creates a barrier that changes the overall layout of the arena. Its massive tree neck might block you from escaping some kind of big attack, and it also might keep you from flying off the stage yourself. Such is the simple existence this palm tree brings to Smash.
