Salt and Sanctuary, a side-scrolling game heavily inspired by Dark Souls, will be making its way to the Switch on August 2nd for all regions. The game is available to pre-order in the North American eShop today.

The announcement was made by Ska Studios, the developers of the game. They’ve been working with BlitWorks, who specializes in ports, for a year in order to release on the Switch.

Salt and Sanctuary: Drowned Tome Edition will be releasing as a physical edition for the Switch at a later date. We’ll have more info on this version when it’s released. For now, you can check out Salt and Sanctuary’s Switch trailer below.
