Developer Pipeworks Studio recently showed off a brief clip of Terraria running on Nintendo Switch — and it looks great already. Check it out:
We want to stress that this is still very early in development with a lot more work left to do, particularly with UI and controls, however we're happy to show a brief first-look at @Terraria_Logic running on the Nintendo Switch. pic.twitter.com/6d5jgymLHX

As you can see, those behind the video were kind enough to share a few notes about the game to give us a better idea of where it stands in development: it’s a work-in-progress, there’s no launch date yet, and the UI/controls work at the moment. The studio said there’s still a lot of work left to do, so we’re not quite sure when we’ll see Terraria head over to Switch yet. Pipeworks Studio also brought Terraria to PS4 and Xbox One, assuring fans that they’ll be able to enjoy the action-adventure game on their Switch systems before they know it.
We’ll let you know if we hear anything about a release date for the highly anticipated port, so stay tuned.
