In anticipation of the game’s release later this month, Monster Hunter XX has a demo that was just added to the Nintendo eShop. Curious to try it out? You’ll need a Japanese Nintendo account to log in and access the shop. From there, you can follow this nice step-by-step guide to acquiring the demo, courtesy of redditor Ryvaeus:
- On your JP account, go to the eShop
- Scroll down to the 3rd menu option on the left
- Click on the MHXX game thumbnail
- Click on the boxed/bordered orange text under the price and release date
- Dismiss the pop-up, check your home menu for the download
