Over the weekend, Atlus hosted a Persona 4 Revival Broadcast to showcase more of the upcoming remake. This included the updated combat techniques the Investigation Team will be making use of, as well as some of the folks you’ll be meeting around Inaba.
Since every party member has gotten a dedicated trailer, it was nice to see some key supporting characters. These included the fan favorites Nanako, Dojima, and Adachi. The most surprising news though was that Aika Nakamura, a character alluded to in the games but only seen in the Persona 4 anime, was now being integrated as a brand-new social link.
The delivery girl for a local Chinese restaurant, Aika is also going to play a part in P4R’s new Location Episodes. These feel similar to some of the new scenes and party interactions added to Persona 3 Reload and will give you an opportunity to experience more of Inaba via photographs and added time with your friends to learn about their histories.
The broadcast closed with some discussion of the game’s music. Rearranging the beloved soundtrack of P4 is no easy task, but a new version of “Golden’s A Sky Full of Stars” was debuted, now including vocals. Other instrumental tracks will also be getting vocals in Revival, with plenty more songs to still be heard ahead of the game’s release in February, with a Nintendo Switch 2 release following on May 20th, 2027.
