IO Interactive has announced that its James Bond game, 007 First Light, has reached a new sales milestone.

The origin story of the iconic spy shifted 4 million copies within its first three months on sale, with the developer thanking fans for their support on social media.

The impressive figure comes before 007 First Light has even had a chance to land on Switch 2. Following a delay, IO Interactive plans to launch the Nintendo port “this summer.”

It was announced this week that the Switch 2 version will be playable at Nintendo’s booth at Gamescom 2026, which will take place from August 26th-30th, 2026, in Cologne, Germany.

007 First Light is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
