Acclaimed pop star Lana Del Rey has debuted a brand-new song and… wait, it’s the theme for 007 First Light? While I’m actually not surprised developer IO Interactive would tap someone famous to score the title crawl for its new Bond outing (EA Games did the same with 2004’s Everything or Nothing by having Mya do the theme), I really would not have expected Lana Del Rey. Would you be shocked if I told you the theme is titled “First Light?”

In a video on YouTube, Del Rey shares a lyrics video with a static image of James from First Light that is rather bland. I wouldn’t have expected her to share footage of the in-game credits, but I do think something more could have been done here. At the very least, we know what the lyrics are, and I’m torn between thinking they’re a clever spin on this being a video game or just being really lazy writing. Del Rey’s voice fits the tone of past Bond themes, however, so she sounds fitting.
