New financial figures from Capcom have revealed that the company is seeing continued success with its big releases.
The Q1 2026 report shows that Resident Evil Requiem has reached 8 million sales since its release in February, while Pragmata passed 2.5 million units since its April launch.
Over the period of April 1st to June 30th, 2026, net sales were ¥70.41 billion ($430 million), up 54.7% compared to the same period last year. The publisher’s operating profit was ¥41.05 billion ($250 million), which is up 66.9% year-on-year.
Capcom sold 23.81 million games over the quarter, compared to 14.16 million units shifted in the first quarter of 2025.>Regarding Pragmata’s success, the company stated it “built a fanbase for the game through robust promotional activities and other measures, leading to a favorable performance of over 2.5m units sold worldwide.”
