Nintendo Japan has released two new commercials for the upcoming single-player spinoff Splatoon Raiders.

Both videos are 30 seconds long. The first is titled “Action Edition” and features the game’s frantic ink-spreading, Salmonid-splatting gameplay. The second, the “World Setting Edition,” focuses more on the various environments across the island setting.

Splatoon Raiders follows the treasure-hunting antics of Deep Cut band members Shiver, Frye, and Big Man as they become stranded on the fog-shrouded Spirhalite Islands. Players take control of The Mechanic, a customizable character who joins the band in their hunt for riches.

You can find many more details about the game in our recent information roundup of the Splatton Raiders Direct, which includes a breakdown of the title’s enemies, gadgets, modes, customization options, and more.

Splatoon Raiders release date

Splatoon Raiders will launch exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 on July 23rd, 2026. On the same day, Blue and Light Yellow Joy-Con 2 controllers, inspired by Splatoon characters Shiver and Frye, will also be released. Pre-orders are live now at Amazon and GameStop.
