A release window and a new gameplay trailer has been released for the upcoming third installment of the Attack of Titan games.

Based on the hit action-horror manga and anime series, Attack on Titan 3 will launch this winter on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Koei Tecmo, via Gematsu, also shared some of the game’s additions and improvements over its predecessors.

“The ODM Gear action has been tweaked and improved to recreate the thrill of omni-directional battle against titankind,” the company said.

“Titans have an arsenal of new and terrifying attacks and behaviors that will have you constantly on your toes.”

A new Casual Mode will also be included for players who want to play with a lower difficulty setting.

Players take control of their own customizable Scout character, and can interact and fight alongside series characters such as Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackerman, and Armin Arlert.

Attack on Titan 3’s opening animation will be directed by the anime series’ action scene animator, storyboard artist, and key animator Arifumi Ima.
