Yacht Club Games has announced the release date for its upcoming action-adventure game, Mina the Hollower, which will be launching across various platforms very soon.

A new video from the developer revealed that the highly anticipated, 2D top-down title will be released on May 29th.

The game will launch on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Mina the Hollower features 8-bit graphics and a chiptune soundtrack similar to Game Boy Color titles, with gameplay akin to classic Legend of Zelda games. Players control Mina, a renowned Hollower who is on a mission to rescue a cursed island.

Yacht Club previously released Shovel Knight in 2014, a 2D platformer that – along with its subsequent expansions – saw overwhelming critical and commercial success. Last year, co-founder Sean Velasco said that Mina was “make-or-break” for the company.
