In an article on Famitsu today, peripheral manufacturer Hori announced a line of new Pokémon accessories that gamers can buy to spice up their lives. Ranging from a cute carrying case to a Metamon (the Japanese name for Ditto) controller, it really will complete your Pokopia experience by grabbing these.

Hori Pokédex Switch 2 game carrying case

Probably the most fetching of the bunch is the Pokédex game carrying case, which looks to be made of faux leather. Smaller in size to mimic a Trainer’s number one encyclopedia, it seemingly holds eight game cards within its fabric flap. There’s maybe some irony in Pokopia being a Game-Key Card here, but then the fact that you can’t even find physical copies in the wild means people really cherish any kind of physical release.

Hori Ditto Switch 2 puffy hybrid pouch

Next up for carrying purposes is a “Puffy Hybrid” pouch that is rather basic in functionality. I believe the hybrid part refers to its handle, which looks like it can be changed from a simple carrying bag to something more like a messenger bag. The same goes for the darker “Metamon Decoration” pouch, which is all black with Ditto’s etched into it. The gimmick there is that it comes with some stickers that you’re meant to apply.

Hori Ditto carrying case and Horipad Turbo

If you’re all about that Ditto life, a separate Ditto carrying case exists as well as a Ditto gamepad. The gamepad is a Horipad Turbo with functionality for PC and Nintendo Switch 2. It has a detachable USB cable, an integrated microphone port, and a proper D-pad for playing different types of games. It looks really nice, all things considered.

The peripherals are currently available for pre-order via Amazon JP (view links above) and Rakuten and should release in April 2026.
