Earlier this morning, The Pokémon Company officially revealed that the 30th Anniversary Pokémon Presents will air on February 27th at 6:00 AM PT / 9:00 AM ET. And that’s not all! Ahead of the presentation, it was also announced that Game Boy Advance titles Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen will be coming to the Nintendo Switch eShop for $19.99 each on February 27th. While I’m a bit surprised these weren’t simply added to the Game Boy Advance app for Nintendo Switch Online members, it’s still pretty great to see them make their way to both Switch and Switch 2.
How about some Pokémon news, Trainers? 🤩
Tune in to #PokemonPresents at 6:00 a.m. PST on February 27, and join us in celebrating 30 years of Pokémon! 🎊

Beyond that, a physical edition of Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen will also be available in Japan via the Pokémon Center. Priced at 19,800 yen, this edition includes three glowing Poké Balls featuring Charmander, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle, replica GBA boxes, and a 30th Anniversary collector’s box. No word yet on whether we’ll see something similar make its way to the States, but stay tuned!
