It’s here! Earlier this morning, Nintendo dropped the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Version 3.0.0 update on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 — a full day earlier than expected. Simply launching the game should prompt the update automatically, but you can also manually install it by pressing the + button on the game icon and checking for updates in the settings menu.
Just a quick reminder: this is the free 3.0 update, not the Switch 2 upgrade, which is still scheduled to launch tomorrow for $4.99.
