Earlier today, we reported that a massive data breach hit Pokémon developer Game Freak, resulting in gigabytes of the company’s data being leaked, including extensive information about past and upcoming Pokémon titles.

While most of the leaked information pertains to Pokémon, one detail hints at a codename widely believed to be linked to the Switch 2. According to reporting from Nintendo Everything, the codename for the Switch 2 is apparently “Ounce.”

This isn’t the first time the codename “Ounce” has surfaced. Back in September, posts on Famiboards mentioned that Ounce was the codename for the Switch 2, and this latest leak appears to all but confirm that report.
