With a new theme park expansion on the way for Super Nintendo World, it was only a matter of time for the Nintendo Switch to get another Donkey Kong Country title. Today’s Nintendo Direct didn’t disappoint in that regard with the announcement of Donkey Kong Country Returns HD.
This is the second time DKCR has gotten ported, with it confirmed that the extra levels from the 3DS version will be included here. No word on other additions, such as Funky Mode, but fans can look forward to some familiar jungle hijinks when this one arrives on January 16th, 2025.
