Coinciding with the release of the Teal Mask expansion for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet came many theories and rumors about the mysterious peach Pokémon. The story of the Loyal Three and Ogerpon was based around the folk tale of Momotarō; yet despite the prevalence of peaches in the original story and the strange peach-shaped doll in Mossui Town, there was no mention of a peach Pokémon until the epilogue in January. Now with the release of two trailers on the Pokémon YouTube channel, the full story of Pecharunt has finally been revealed!
Where Pecharunt came from
The first video titled “The Untold Story of Pecharunt” gives a background on where Pecharunt came from and how it met Okidogi, Munkidori, Fezandipiti, and Ogerpon in and along the way to Kitakami. Pecharunt itself didn’t get that much lore in the epilogue itself, so this is a nice addition to Pecharunt’s story.
Where to find the Mystery Gift code, fitting for Pecharunt
The second feature is a more proper trailer for Pecharunt and the epilogue itself. Sitting at only a minute long, it mostly serves to show off Pecharunt and what it can do, rather than provide any deeper story or information on the epilogue. At the end of the trailer, a new Mystery Gift code was revealed. Players who enter the code NE0R0T0MC0VER will receive a Neo-Kitakami Case for their Rotom Phone which is very purple, perfect for Pecharunt!
