What a ride it’s been. Since their announcement, amiibo have been intrinsically linked to Super Smash Bros. Though the scope and scale have changed (you can wear one on your wrist at Universal Studios, you know) there’s no denying that with this upcoming release it’s the end of an era.
Yes, the Sora amiibo finally has a release date, set for February 16th, 2024.
Based on his look from the original Kingdom Hearts, it’s a fitting end to this legacy that’s spanned across dozens of figures and nearly a decade of collecting.
