Today’s Nintendo Direct featured a brand-new trailer for WarioWare: Move It!, showcasing several of its over 200 microgames and its central “Forms” gameplay mechanic.
Each microgame in Move It! requires a specific pose, called a “Form,” to complete, like “Ba-KAW” Form in a pecking microgame and “Fashionista” in one requiring the player to lasso a llama.
Fans of WarioWare: Smooth Moves will likely find Forms familiar, as the Wii game used the Form mechanic in an almost identical way.
Microgames in WarioWare: Move It! will use both the Switch Joy-Cons’ gyro controls and IR sensor.
Up to four players can battle each other locally in “Party Mode,” which features various competitive match types for players to play microgames together.
WarioWare: Move It! launches on Nintendo Switch November 3rd, 2023.
