JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R is still out here getting new content ten years after the original game’s release. Closing out the DLC character lineup is Alternate World Diego from Steel Ball Run, with plenty of knives and time stops along for the ride.
While he’d be a fitting end for the game’s post launch characters, Bandai Namco isn’t done yet. A second season of DLC is now confirmed, this time featuring only three characters. It’s been confirmed we’ll receive one each from Golden Wind, Diamond is Unbreakable, and (perhaps most notably) JoJolion. The last of those was fairly underrepresented in the base game due to the manga being early in its run at launch, so here’s hoping for someone that speaks to Part 8’s later storytelling.
Parallel Diego will be available on June 16th, with early access for pass holders starting June 14th instead. The next round of character DLC will start up in early autumn, and conclude later in winter, likely into early 2024 based on the given wording.
