Kirby Tilt ‘n’ Tumble was previously one of the most forgotten entries in the pink puffball’s illustrious catalog of spinoffs, due to requiring gyroscopic functions on a handheld device – something that’s more standard nowadays, but less so once upon a time. Well, the game has been released on Nintendo Switch Online’s Game Boy emulator, and Nintendo has demonstrated how it works – while also paying a nod to the “I’m using tilt controls!” meme of Mario Kart fame:
You’re using tilt controls! 🔄🔃

The embed video itself is a great, simple demonstration of how the game works, but the wording of the tweet is enough to make the audience either laugh lightly, roll their eyes, or shout “YOOOOOOOOO” at a high volume. Hopefully Tilt ‘n’ Tumble is just the beginning, and we see other gyroscopic games of yesteryear like Warioware Twisted and Yoshi Topsy-Turvy make a return.
