UPDATE: Nintendo of Europe has revealed that not only will Zelda be the focus of Nintendo’s E3, but it will be the only game present on its show floor, in order to guarantee “complete immersion.”
It’s hard to believe that the last time we saw extended footage of the upcoming console Zelda game was at the Game Awards 2014, via a distant recording of a TV screen. Fans have been clamoring for more footage and information ever since, and it seems like the wait may soon be over, as Nintendo of America has confirmed the new Zelda will be the focus of its E3 this year.

Nintendo has stated that it won’t be showing the NX at the conference this June, meaning all playable demos of the game will be on Wii U hardware. A press release from Nintendo of Europe has confirmed an NX event which will take place later in the year.
We’ll be sure to keep checking to figure out just what the situation is, but one thing can be certain – more Zelda news is on the horizon.
