Original article: Square Enix has announced its strategy RPG The DioField Chronicle will be getting a free update in March 2023 that’s set to add a wide range of content to the game.
As Gematsu reports, the major addition is a new scenario starring Waltaquin Redditch, playable after finishing Chapter 5. In this scenario you’ll be able to wield Waltaquin’s weapon, the “Grimoire.”
New skills will also be added, namely Necromancy and Necrotame, allowing you to summon a Skull Knight and transform units into Skull Dragons respectively.
Those who want more of a challenge, meanwhile, can play the new Extra Mode which has high-level enemies appear from Chapter 1, ideal for New Game+, and a Very Hard difficulty.
The DioField Chronicle is available now on Nintendo Switch while the update will drop in March 2023.
