Fans of Oxenfree — the 2016 teenage time loop mystery that won widespread acclaim and a devoted following — have been patiently waiting for the sequel, Oxenfree II: Lost Signals, originally announced in 2021 to be releasing this year (that is, 2022). Well, it looks like we’ll have to wait a bit longer, as the game has been pushed back to next year for quality and more localizations.

Night School Studio thanks fans for their patience and understanding, and promises that they’re going to deliver something truly special when the time comes. While they don’t give any more specific release window like a day, month, or even season, we’ll be sure to provide a more accurate window whenever they announce it.
