It’s been a busy and productive summer for Pokémon Unite. The free-to-play MOBA game starring the Pokémon franchise has hit a major milestone. Yesterday, the official Pokémon Unite Twitter account announced that the game has exceeded 9 million downloads on the Nintendo Switch. As thanks for this new milestone, Trainers will be receiving some gifts! Specifically, 2,000 Aeos Tickets and they’ll be distributed on September 29th, a week after the game’s mobile release.
What a goal! The Nintendo Switch version of #PokemonUNITE has just exceeded 9 million downloads! To show our excitement and gratitude, every Trainer will receive 2,000 Aeos Tickets starting 9/29.

To put things into perspective, 89.04 million Nintendo Switch units have been sold as of June 30th, 2021. Assuming that the 90 million unit mark has been crossed, that means Pokémon Unite has been installed on 10% of Switch units worldwide. Even for a “free” game, that’s a big number!
Expect that number to climb when Pokémon Unite is launched on mobile devices on Wednesday, September 22nd.
