Talk about a bountiful harvest — Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, the combination rice-farming-simulator and heavenly beat ‘em up, has crossed the million marker for sales worldwide.

Given that it reached 950,000 last month that may not be a huge surprise, but it’s still a great accomplishment for a game made primarily by a two-man development team, especially since the game is so darn good. Lovable characters, fluid combat, and rice farming enticingly complicated enough to remind you that rice farming is in fact extremely difficult — if you haven’t taken a gander for yourself, it comes highly recommend by the NinWire staff. Might as well bolster that sales number as high as it’ll go, right?
