Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity character list
1. Link
The storied hero of The Legend of Zelda, Link, is the first playable character you’ll unlock in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. He’s available from the beginning of the game and is playable in just about every story mission. Link is unique in that he’s able to use multiple types of weapons (like swords, two-handed weapons, and spears), whereas other characters are limited to just one.
2. Impa
Impa, the elder of Kakariko Village in Breath of the Wild, is also a playable character — albeit 100 years younger. Impa is unlocked upon completing Chapter 1. Impa’s weapon of choice is the dagger. She’s very swift on her feet and can absorb symbols during combos to summon up to four shadow clones to fight alongside her.
3. Zelda
Princess Zelda is unlocked upon completing Chapter 1, just like Impa. The princess of Hyrule’s weapons of choice are the Sheikah Slate and the bow.
4. Mipha
Mipha, one of the four Champions of Hyrule, is unlocked upon completing Chapter 2: Mipha, the Zora Princess. She uses the Zora spear weapon.
5. Daruk
Daruk, another of the four Champions, is unlocked after completing Chapter 2: Daruk, the Goron Hero. He uses Goron swords as weapons.
6. Revali
Revali, another Champion, is unlocked once you complete Chapter 2: Revali, the Rito Warrior. He uses the Rito bow as his weapon.
7. Urbosa
Urbosa, the last of the four Champions, can be unlocked upon completing Chapter 2: Urbosa, the Gerudo Chief. This lightning user wields the Gerudo scimitar as her weapon of choice.
8. Hestu
Hestu the Korok is unlocked upon completing Chapter 3: Freeing Korok Forest. He’s an odd character who can summon Koroks to fight alongside him. He wields Korok maracas as his weapon.
9. Sidon
Prince Sidon is another playable character, unlocked by completing Chapter 5: Water and Fire. Sidon uses the Zora spear as a weapon, just like his sister Mipha.
10. Yunobo
The Goron Yunobo is another playable character unlocked by completing Chapter 5: Water and Fire. He uses the Goron Rock Roast as his weapon.
11. Teba

By completing all four Fairy Fountain challenges, you can unlock Great Fairies as a playable character. They use Wrist bangles as weapons. There are initially three Fairy Fountain challenges — “Fairy Fountain: Deep Snows,” “Fairy Fountain: Grassy Plains,” and “Fairy Fountain: Desert Sands” — that must be beaten before the fourth one, “Fairy Fountain: Battlefield,” is unlocked.
16. Monk Maz Koshia
The second optional unlockable character in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is Monk Maz Koshia.
