Sega’s Streets of Rage is one of the beat-em-up titles, and with today’s Indie World showcase we’ve seen a piece of that original legacy make a welcome return. Playable for the first time since the original game will be Adam Hunter, making a return alongside his allies — Axel and Blaze, and daughter, Cherry.
We also get a look at the game in motion, and its visual style doesn’t disappoint. It’s the right way to revive a game, with the gameplay hopefully living up to that standard when Streets of Rage 4 releases in 2020.
