Astral Chain is nearly here and it looks like embargoes are starting to lift with respect to footage. Those who have the game at this time have taken to sharing various previews and other snips of footage, but for those most drawn in by PlatinumGames’ knack for visual flair and unique storytelling, might I suggest the opening cutscene?
Uploaded by GameXplain, this gives us a look at the formation of a Legion, the humanoid weapon that you’ll be bound to by the titular Astral Chain. There’s definitely a sinister air about the proceedings, though that’s par when it comes to secret underground labs. Still, seeing how the game and its world unfolds has gotten me excited almost as much as the gameplay, which all shall be able to experience come August 30th.
