It’s nearly time for the Splatacolypse to begin, and as such all the players have made their allegiances known. Previously, we saw how everyone around Inkopolis Square — from Squid Sisters, to shopkeepers, to Salmonids — was voting for this all out war of Chaos versus Order. Now the last set of characters has shared their motivations and decisions, clearing the way for the beginning of the end.

Championing Order seems to be (almost) the entire Octarian race. Persisting on the cold, mechanical consistency of their technology, they fall in line to march towards a brighter tomorrow. As for Chaos, Iso Padre is about ready for something new. Leave it to him to drop a little wisdom on the beauty of imperfections.

Next up, we have the playable Agents of the game’s single-player story modes and an old salt of an ally. Cap’n Cuttlefish and Agent 3 stand united for Order, silently watching over Inkopolis to keep it safe and as it should be. On the opposite end of that spectrum we’ve Agent 4, ready to roll with whatever Chaos comes if it means more freedom and flexibility. As for Agent 8, their meticulous nature is both a blessing and a curse, reminding them of their past and setting the stage for an Orderly future.

A pair of pairs is rounding out the ensemble, with DJ Octavio partnering up with… Li’l Judd? Both of them are looking to take the limelight (by force if they have to) and bring a Chaotic energy to the fold. Hoping to douse their sparks of creativity are Telephone and C.Q. Cumber, fighting against free will and out to craft their own kind of Order.

And of course, things wouldn’t be complete without the two leading ladies of this and every other Splatoon 2 Splatfest. Pearl, the Queen of Chaos, ready to shatter monotony with her powerful voice; Marina, the Octoling of Order, fighting to maintain the rhythm of everything she’s grown to love. Decide who you’re aligned with and be ready to Turf War under the truest neutrality that is Judd, the herald of the Splatocolypse who will make the final call.

It’s all going down starting today, so grab your weapon of choice and hop online. You’ve got until July 21st to cover every last inch of every Shifty Station there ever was (and one brand new finale of a stage) in ink and paint.
