It’s a good day whenever mobile games get saved from the app store hell and wind up on home consoles. A few years back in 2022, Gameloft released Nickelodeon Extreme Tennis on Apple Arcade as an exclusive to Apple’s subscription service. It was removed a year later and has been missing in action ever since. Now, Gameloft and developer Old Skull Games have announced that the game will be heading to PC and consoles as Nickelodeon Extreme Tennis: Next!

Set to release on May 28th, 2026, the game will come packed with 15 Nickelodeon characters ranging from ’90s classics to modern day favorites. Garfield is also there, for some reason, but that’s okay. The game will include solo play and 1v1 local multiplayer. There’s no online option, but a “Story Mode” is present that will take you through each included series. Some mini-games and a tournament mode round out the options for how to play.

The official description on digital stores reads:

“Pick your star player from among 15 iconic Nickelodeon characters from SpongeBob SquarePants, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and more! Choose from over 500 outfits and accessories to customize your Nickelodeon character your way, and show off your personality on the tennis court. Turn the tide of the match with powerful ultimate abilities that are unique to every character!”

The game will be available both physically and digitally when it releases late next month. Pre-orders are currently live on all platforms.
