The Pokémon Company has announced that Pokémon Legends Z-A will soon be getting support for the Pokémon Home application. While this might sound like an April Fool’s joke what with the timing of the announcement, it was revealed late last night to get ahead of the confusion.

Server maintenance will take place at 9 a.m. on April 2nd, 2026, and could last up to 24 hours. During the maintenance period, access to Pokémon Home won’t be available on either Nintendo Switch or smartphones. Once finished, you’ll be able to update to the 4.00 version and this will include integration with Legends Z-A. It will also work with Pokémon Champions when it releases next week.

There isn’t any information about restrictions when transferring Pokémon from your save files, so I guess you can max out their level or name them whatever you want. We’ll learn more about that once the update is out and people have tinkered with it. I’m not sure why it took Game Freak nearly seven months to get this feature included, but at least it’s finally happening.
