At long last, developer Poncle has unveiled the online co-op update for its hit indie darling Vampire Survivors. Promised for over two years now, update v1.14 finally includes online co-op for up to four players. It isn’t crossplay enabled (and may never be), but at least you don’t need to be in the same room to partner up with friends and take on… well, not a lot of vampires.

Update v1.14 brings two new stages to Vampire Survivors: the Mazarella labyrinth and the Westwoods gamba stage. A new relic item will let you control four characters at the same time, and this update even brings two new characters with weapons and evolutions to the roster. Interestingly, a new mechanic called “Survarot” is being added that is a different form of Tarot cards. Based on the original characters from VS, they’re usable by new character, Secretino, and characters from the new DLC pack that surprise released with 1.14.

Titled “Ante Chamber,” the shadowdropped DLC is actually a crossover with last year’s indie megahit Balatro. As you would expect, the pack adds the “Jester” character to the roster as well as three other characters featured on various decks in Balatro. There are even four new weapons with evolutions and a brand-new stage to do battle on.

If that wasn’t enough, owners of the “Ode to Castlevania” DLC have a ridiculous amount of new content to dig through as 16 characters have been added to that expansion. Included for free as part of 1.14, each character comes with a new weapon. There are also new weapon unions, 12 additional songs, and a new adventure mode to trek through.

When will Vampire Survivors Version 1.14  release?

Update v1.14 will be live for Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and Epic Games Store players on October 31st, 2025. It’s currently live on all other platforms.
