With Halloween practically around the corner, Nintendo is set to kick off another Splatoon 3 Splatfest that will usher in the holiday in style. Dubbed “Splatoween,” the event kicks off in just a few weeks, and asks the question, “Which would be the best friend?” Your choices? A Zombie, a skeleton, or a ghost.
A creepy vibe is in the air, and we're getting our costumes together, which means Splatoween is coming!

Personally, I think a ghost would make the best friend as it’s incorporeal and can’t physically harm you. A zombie would try to eat your brain, and a skeleton is… well, they’re scary to look at. They also have a physical form, so they can still damage you. Just ask Jason and his band of Argonauts how their time with skeletons went. Not exactly fun and games, I’ll tell you what.
Splatoween 2025 will run from October 24th, 2025, at 6 p.m. PT until October 26th, 2025, at 6 p.m. PT. As always, you’ll receive an in-game t-shirt based on the team you pick and you’ll be able to dance out to some sick tunes from the Squid Sisters and Deep Cut.
