With less than two months to go until Pokémon Legends: Z-A is finally here, the hype around its release is growing with every passing day. Of course, a big part of that is the exciting new Mega Evolution reveals, with Dragonite and Victreebel being the only ones seen thus far. Seeing as those are both Kanto Pokémon, when a brand-new Mega reveal was teased between Hawlucha and Machamp, many were expecting that trend to continue. That didn’t end up being the case however, as we got the news that Mega Hawlucha would be making its debut instead!
The trailer aired earlier this morning and as one might expect by the Pokémon involved, it’s all about wrestling. After a brief showdown between these two flash Fighting-types when it looked like Hawlucha was about to lose it all, it Mega Evolved and was able to swing the fight back in its favor.
As if that cinematic showcase wasn’t enough, a gameplay trailer focusing on Mega Hawlucha was put out as well, giving a glimpse at what it’s capable of in-game.
After such an exciting reveal, it’s safe to say that many Pokémon fans are looking forward to getting to use Mega Hawlucha once Pokémon Legends: Z-A releases later this year. There’s almost certainly many more new Mega Evolutions coming to the game as well, so make sure to keep an eye out for more news as the return to the Kalos region draws ever closer!
