A remaster of the 2010 Pop Cap classic Plants vs. Zombies has been announced for Nintendo Switch systems.

A reveal trailer for Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted was shown during today’s Nintendo Partner Showcase presentation, boasting improved HD visuals and the addition of a new co-op mode. It will launch on both Nintendo Switch 1 and Switch 2 on October 23rd.

According to IGN, this remaster of the quirky fortress defense game includes new game modes, including Cloudy Day (an increased difficulty mode that limits sunlight) and Rest in Peace (a roguelike permadeath mode). There is also an art gallery featuring never-before-seen concepts.

Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted is available to pre-order now on the Nintendo Store, with a Retro Peashooter Skin being offered as a pre-order bonus.
