If you missed out on nabbing Hello Kitty Island Adventure physically earlier this year, fear not! Publisher Sunblink has announced that it will be producing two new variants of the game for fans who want to take an island vacation with Kitty and friends. Set to release on August 29th, 2025, one of the versions will be a reprint of the “Deluxe Edition” that included a bunch of unique items and rewards. It will retail for $39.99 / £34.99 / €39.99 and be available on Nintendo Switch and PS5.

The second version is where a bunch of cool stuff comes in. Dubbed the “Gift Box Edition,” this variant will also include the “Deluxe” version, but comes with a printed Critter and Fish guide, a set of collectable cards, a double-sided poster, prints of Tophat’s Memories, and a rather nice looking collector’s box. It will retail for $59.99 / €59.99 / £52.99 and also be available on Switch and PS5. Interestingly, the game’s PS5 (and planned PS4) release hasn’t happened yet, so this physical version will likely be the console port’s release date.

For those out of the loop, Hello Kitty Island Adventure originally released in 2023 as an Apple Arcade exclusive before it came to PC and Switch on January 30th, 2025. The game has generally been well-received by fans and critics.
