2025 is set to be a big year for the Professor Layton series with Professor Layton and the New World of Steam still on track to hit Switch in the coming months. Likely in a way to cross-promote that upcoming game with the “Layton Collection” available on its website, Fangamer has announced a brand new jigsaw puzzle based on the series. A rather massive 1000-piece puzzle, the artwork selected is chosen from one of the beautiful cutscenes of the series where Luke and Layton are discussing their next adventure on the train.

Finally, a Puzzle that reminds you of This

While my old brain is failing me in figuring out which adventure this is from (I think it is Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box), it’s a fitting image that sums up the Layton series well. Not only are you solving a puzzle by placing pieces together, but you also get a rendition of the Ghibli-styled cutscenes in massive form. I was always blown away by how good the cutscenes were in those games, especially for being on the DS. I would love to have some art like that on my wall.

The puzzle will run you $26 and is available in both the US and EU. There is also some artwork from Professor Layton and the Unwound Future, aka the greatest game ever made, and a pin set of Luke and Layton. Those go for $19 and $14 respectively.
