Nintendo is taking the newly announced Nintendo Switch 2 on the road this spring. Those interested in North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia will have the opportunity to try out Nintendo’s new console before anyone else.
Nintendo is making tickets available to these events through a free-to-enter, randomly selected drawing process. However, you must have a free Nintendo account to be able to enter these drawings and be a resident of the country in which they’re attending (or a resident of the European Union for events in Europe outside the UK).
The registration begins tomorrow, January 17th, at 3 p.m. ET and ends January 26th at 11:59 p.m. local time. If you win, you’ll be notified soon after the end of the drawing according to Nintendo.

- Dallas — April 25-27, 2025
- Toronto — April 25-27, 2025
- Paris — April 4-6, 2025
- London — April 11-13, 2025

- Berlin — April 25-27, 2025
- Madrid — May 9-11, 2025
- Amsterdam — May 9-11, 2025
- Melbourne — May 10-11, 2025
- Tokyo — April 26-27, 2025
- Seoul — May 31-June 1, 2025
- Hong Kong — TBA
- Taipei — TBA
With these events taking place throughout April, May, and June, and a Nintendo Switch 2 Direct planned for April 2nd, it’s looking like the console could have a late spring/early summer release date. All of this news is very exciting and we can’t wait to find out more!
