With November coming to a close and December knocking on the door, that can mean only one thing. That’s right, the release of the Sonic The Hedgehog 3 movie is under a month away! As December 20th grows ever closer, promotion campaigns are getting ready to roll out and take the world by storm. That all being said, it seems like one might have jumped the gun, as McDonald’s seemingly accidentally revealed a new set of Happy Meal toys for the film before they intended.
The potential slip up comes from the McDonald’s UAE website, in which they published a section showing off next month’s Happy Meal toys with a special banner and pictures of all 12 toys. The page has since been pulled from the site, which implies that the public wasn’t meant to see that so soon. It’s not especially surprising to know that McDonald’s has a Sonic The Hedgehog 3 promotion in the works, but now it’s just a matter of wondering when it will be officially revealed.
While it seems very likely that these toys would be released worldwide, there’s no way to know for sure as of right now. Considering the movie is set for release next month though, it seems like it won’t be too much longer until it’s confirmed. For now all there is to do is to keep doing what all Sonic fans are doing right now: eagerly awaiting December’s arrival.
