It’s been a few months since Nintendo announced that Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp would be reaching its last breath after an impressive seven-year run. While Nintendo assured fans that the game would continue in an offline version, it offered few specifics about what that would look like. Fortunately, the company has now released a wealth of details about the upcoming offline app, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete — and it’s even better than I’d hoped. Check out the video below for all the highlights, or read on for our full breakdown.

When is Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete coming out?

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete will launch on iOS and Android devices on Tuesday, December 3rd, just a few days after Pocket Camp officially shuts down on November 28th.

How much will Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete cost?

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete will be available for a limited-time price of $9.99 from December 3rd to January 31st. After that, the game will retail for $19.99.

How can I transfer my save data?

Fortunately, transferring your save data is simple. Link your Nintendo ID to Pocket Camp before it shuts down on November 28th, and your data will be ready to transfer to the new app. Once the new app launches, simply link your Nintendo Account and your data will magically appear!

What transfers over from Pocket Camp to Pocket Camp Complete?

Your level, friendship levels, bells, items, camp layouts, outfits, and campers will all carry over to the new game.

What will not carry over from Pocket Camp to Pocket Camp Complete?

Leaf Tickets, online social features like sending items to friends or visiting friends’ campsites, and the Pocket Camp Club membership will not carry over to Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete.

What new features are being added?

Leaf Tokens

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete introduces Leaf Tokens, a new currency replacing Leaf Tickets. Leaf Tokens can be used to purchase rare items and reduce crafting times.

Camper Cards

Many of the features from the Pocket Camp Club are now integrated into the game. You can still choose a favorite animal to follow you around camp, decorate your planner, and save multiple layouts for easy redecorating.

While online social functions have been removed, Pocket Camp Complete introduces a QR code system that lets you create a trading card featuring you and your favorite villager, which you can share with friends. When friends scan your code, your unique trading card will appear in their game!

Whistle Pass

Finally, a new location called Whistle Pass is being added, allowing you to interact with avatars of your friends. Speaking with these avatars can reward you with special items, so be sure to visit often. Plus, K.K. Slider will make a nightly appearance at 7 p.m. to perform songs!

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete launches on December 3rd, 2024. Make sure to login before Pocket Camp shuts down to November 28th to ensure your data is backed up and ready to go!
