Are you ready for an island-hopping, jazzy-jumping, Bros. bonding adventure?! Because Nintendo sure wants you to be with the return of the Mario & Luigi RPG series. The fifth installment is nearly here, and as is customary for these final legs a longer overview trailer has been shared detailing the ins and outs of Mario & Luigi: Brothership.
A lot of the gameplay we see will be familiar here, emphasizing the Mario Bros. teamwork both in and out of battle. Most of the “new” comes from fuller looks at the game’s setting, Concordia. Things are almost Wind Waker-esque with the course charting to isolated islet adventures aboard Shipshape Island — an island shaped like a ship.

There are also plenty of new characters to meet, and one familiar face sneaking onto the scene. Towards the end we get confirmation that what appears to be recurring M&L character Starlow will be in the game, seen floating just over Princess Peach’s shoulder. No word on if others, like fan-favorite Fawful, will find their way into this maritime quest.
Mario & Luigi: Brothership will sail onto Switch November 7th.
