Capcom’s been on a roll with their compilations lately, bringing plenty of titles back to modern platforms both beloved and obscure. The latest set, announced as part of today’s Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, continues that trend in a big way, particularly if you’re a Dreamcast fan.

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 brings together eight titles:

  • Capcom vs. SNK
  • Capcom vs. SNK 2
  • Project Justice
  • Capcom Fighting Evolution
  • Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper
  • Plasma Sword
  • Power Stone
  • Power Stone 2

It’s a great collection in terms of variety and what it’s reviving. Both Power Stone titles and Plasma Sword have been seldom seen when it comes to Capcom’s broader efforts, and the two SNK titles represent some great crossovers in and of themselves. The same can’t be said for Capcom Fighting Evolution, which is notoriously rough around the edges. That said, I’d gladly weather its mishmash of characters and gameplay systems to have Project Justice back on modern consoles!

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 will come to Switch and more in 2025.
