The Yu-Gi-Oh! x Hello Kitty and Friends Happy Meal toy collection is finally here in the United States. Debuting earlier this year in Europe, the Yu-Gi-Oh! x Hello Kitty and Friends collaboration surprised both fan bases across the globe. Luckily, McDonald’s announced that this collection would be released around the world and it’s time for the United States’ turn.

Available from August 20th to September 16th (or until supplies last), fans can collect the following nine plushies from participating McDonald’s locations:

  1. Hello Kitty as Dark Magician
  2. Cinnamoroll as Blue-Eyes White Dragon
  3. My Melody as Dark Magician Girl
  4. Keroppi as Kuriboh
  5. Pompompurin as Exodia the Forbidden One
  6. Pocahacco as Time Wizard
  7. Chococat as The Winged Dragon of Ra
  8. Kuromi as Slifer the Sky Dragon
  9. Tuxedosam as Obelisk the Tormentor

Yet, fans of this collaboration will notice that there is one character missing from the United States release – Badtz-maru as the Red-Eyes Black Dragon. He doesn’t appear anywhere on the official Happy Meal website or in any media advertising the launch (he’s not even in the free downloadable coloring and activity sheet).

To anyone collecting the (almost) entire set or just your favorite character – good luck! These toys have been in demand and even reached some wild prices on the secondary market (such as $100 for Keroppi when the toys first launched in Belgium).
