The soon-to-be-open Nintendo Museum seems like a wonderful blast of nostalgia for people who have grown up with the Big N’s consoles. From things like the wonderful exhibition halls to playable games, there is seemingly something for everyone of any age. There are also references to literally everything Nintendo-related, including the now-forgotten Mii’s from the Wii era.
Buried on the museum’s website in the User Guide section, there is a bit about assigning tickets to multiple visitors ahead of time to expedite entry. When you click on the “What you can do when assigning” section, it reveals that all entry tickets to the museum will feature your Nintendo Account’s assigned Mii on them. Some people may have forgotten this, but on the Switch, your Mii is present from when you created your Nintendo Account… unless you never specified which Mii to have.
While that is a fun little detail, the entry passes also serve another purpose: keeping records of your scores from activities at the museum. Since you need to log into your Nintendo Account to buy advanced tickets, you can assign multiple Nintendo Accounts to individual users. Everyone will be able to keep track of when they last visited the museum and the scores they got on any specific games there. The website has a mock image of the “Zapper & Scope SP” and “Love Tester SP” games, though it will obviously apply to everything.
None of this is groundbreaking technology, but it’s certainly delightful.
