As a rule of thumb, if it’s a major Nintendo series, it will have tons of available merch, and the Kirby series is certainly no exception to that. In fact, two brand-new plushies have just been announced for release later this year! If you’re a Kirby fan still trying to cope with the lack of any news in over a year, then these two collectibles might help hold you over.

The two plushies come from the company San-ei, a well-known producer of Nintendo merchandise. They both depict Kirby, one with his mouth open mid-inhale and the second as if he just swallowed something. The inhaling Kirby measures W25×D19×H21cm and is priced at ¥3,300, which amounts to roughly $20. The swallowing Kirby goes for the same price and measures W25×D25×H20cm. Both are set for release sometime in November this year, with pre-orders expected to go live in September.
Overall, these two plushies seem like pretty decent pickups if you’re in the market for Kirby merchandise. They appear well-made and aren’t especially overpriced, so they may be worth getting when they become available this fall. After all, the world is a much happier place when Kirby is in it, and that holds true for real life as well!
