After seven years, we’ve finally gotten our first look at Metroid Prime 4. Titled Beyond, we were able to see a small glimpse into Samus’ next adventure. We’ll have to wait just a bit longer, as Prime 4: Beyond will be released in 2025. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean it won’t be released on the successor, so there is potential for a double release.
It’s exciting to finally get some news on the long-awaited sequel! First teased at E3 2017, Prime 4 has gone through a long development cycle, at one point completely restarting production. With Retro Studios back at the helm, we’re sure to get another great installment!
While we don’t have much information to go off of at this time, we do have new imagery to feast our eyes upon. Have a look at the the trailer from the June Nintendo Direct and the screenshot gallery below.
