After the return of Super Mario RPG and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, it was only a matter of time until Nintendo found a way to bring the other Mario RPG series to Switch. Today’s Nintendo Direct was kicked off by Mario & Luigi: Brothership, an all-new entry in the paired up adventure.

Bros. moves are back, as is the series’ trademark charm through a revitalized visual style. We also saw new characters, both friend and foe, as well as mainstays Princess Peach and Bowser.

We don’t know who’s developing this one in the absence of AlphaDream, but it will arrive on Nintendo Switch this November 7th. Stay tuned as more details are revealed in the coming months!

When he isn’t writing for Nintendo Wire, Ricky’s anticipating the next Kirby, Fire Emblem, or if the stars ever align, Mother 3 to be released. Till then he’ll have the warm comfort of Super Smash Bros. to keep him going.
